Where I'm At

Soooo today has been quite an eventful day and I need to speak on a few things...why not share it with the rest of the world?? First off shoutout to everyone who is following the blog, whether you have OFFICIALLY became a follower of the blog, or if you just find time to check it everyday. I see the profile views and I am very appreciative. With that said shoutout to Mrs. Jones! :-) The first official follower and also my other follower and 1/4th of my heart my lil sis!! The other 75 % is Moms and G-Moms (R.I.P.) and my family in general! I spent a lot of time with the fam today, and everytime there is never a dull moment! I wish everyone in the world had what my family and I have cause without them I would definitely be LOST. Everytime I get together with family I always go through these emotions because I'm grateful for what I do have, and realize what others do not have. So with that said everybody take some time today to tell a family member that you love them, and when you tell em, tell em AC told you to do it lol.

I woke up to some unfortunate news, not directly relating to me, but sad none the less. If your an avid sports fan, or basketball fan, you gotta know who Manute Bol is. One of the tallest people to ever play basketball at 7'7'', and the first ever from the Sudan. Many people are going to remember him for being just that, tall, and a "sideshow" in a sense on the court. Manute Bol was probably one of the greatest people walking around this Earth, and at age 47 is gone wayyyyyy too soon. As a society we love to glorify the athletes who lead high speed chases down the freeway (OJ Simpson), cheat on their wives (Kobe Bryant), and are addicted to gambling (John Daly). But an athlete such as Manute Bol, who dedicated his life to helping others in his struggling home country, visiting refugee camps, donating money, and organizing events in his home country as well as in the USA to raise money in the Sudan, never ever get the praise that they are due. As a man I can only hope to lead a life such as Bol led.

---Ayy Cee!
